At Marmitako Sailing we propose much more than just a boat trip: we invite you to live an exclusive sensory experience that fuses sailing with a high-level gastronomic proposal, designed for those who appreciate the nuances of a cuisine that has been carefully prepared down to the last detail.

Sailing, flavour and local essence in the waters of El Abra de Getxo

You will sail the waters of the emblematic Bilbao Estuary aboard a charming boat, surrounded by landscapes that tell the story of a land that has managed to reinvent itself without losing its identity.

We will meet at the Maritime Port of El Abra at 13:30h. During the tour, you will enjoy a premium gastronomic tasting, prepared with selected local products (KM0), fresh, seasonal and with a local stamp.

Each dish is a tribute to the culinary richness of the Basque Country, where tradition and avant-garde go hand in hand.

In addition, you will have the option of pairing this experience with a carefully selected range of high quality wines, chosen to enhance the flavours and aromas of each gastronomic proposal and further enhance the on-board experience.

Beyond gastronomy

As well as savouring the excellence of our cuisine, you will be able to contemplate the transformation of the wonderful town of Getxo, modern, innovative and full of life. A perfect combination of sea, culture, history and gastronomy.

We will return to our home port in Getxo at 18:00 hours, at which point the boat trip ends, but not necessarily the experience. Once ashore, you can continue to enjoy the atmosphere: stroll around the town, discover the local shops, enjoy a drink on a terrace or simply let yourself be carried away by the calm and welcoming rhythm of the local people.

In addition, in the summer season or when weather conditions permit, there is the possibility of adapting the route: instead of sailing along the Bilbao estuary, we can venture out into the open sea, anchor off a nearby beach and enjoy a meal on board in a more adventurous and natural environment.
