At Marmitako Sailing we offer you much more than a boat trip: we invite you to live an exclusive sensory experience that merges sailing with a high-level gastronomic proposal, designed for those who appreciate the nuances of a cuisine that is carefully prepared in detail.

Sailing, flavor and local essence in the waters of El Abra de Getxo

You will sail the waters of the emblematic Bilbao Estuary aboard a charming boat, surrounded by landscapes that tell the story of a land that has reinvented itself without losing its identity.

We will meet at the Abra Maritime Port at 1:30 pm. During the tour, you will enjoy a premium gastronomic tasting , made with selected local (KM0), fresh, seasonal products with a local seal.

Each dish is a tribute to the culinary richness of Euskal Herria, where tradition and innovation go hand in hand.

In addition, you will have the option of pairing this experience with a carefully selected range of high-quality wines, chosen to enhance the flavors and aromas of each culinary offering and further elevate the onboard experience.

Beyond gastronomy

In addition to savoring the excellence of our cuisine, you can witness the transformation of the wonderful town of Getxo—modern, innovative, and full of life. A perfect combination of sea, culture, history, and gastronomy.

We’ll return to our home port in Getxo at 6:00 PM, marking the end of the boat trip, but not necessarily the end of the experience. Once ashore, you can continue enjoying the atmosphere: stroll through the town, explore the local shops, savor a drink on a terrace, or simply let yourself be carried away by the relaxed and welcoming rhythm of the locals.

Furthermore, in the summer season or when weather conditions permit, there is the possibility of adapting the route: instead of sailing through the Bilbao Estuary, we can venture into the open sea, anchor in front of a nearby beach and enjoy the meal on board in a more adventurous and natural environment.

You can enjoy three carefully selected menus , created to experience gastronomy in a unique way, aboard a premium sailboat. Each menu is inspired by the history, landscape, and essence of our coastline.

Punta Galea Menu

Inspired by the imposing beauty of Punta Galea, this menu is based on a careful selection of local produce. Its flavors evoke the character of the syncline, the strength of the rock formation, and the unique flysch that defines this area of Bizkaia.

Arriluce Lighthouse Menu

Crafted with the memories of those who, generation after generation, found guidance in the historic Arriluce Lighthouse. A lighthouse that illuminated the fishermen’s return and marked the course to our home port. A menu that pays homage to that maritime tradition and the taste of the sea’s labor.

Menu The Great Villas

A refined menu, designed for palates that enjoy savoring every nuance. Its inspiration comes from the panoramic views of the promenade and the emblematic architecture of Getxo’s grand villas, with their palaces and mansions that transform every vista into a unique postcard.
